About Morey Movement

Morey Movement has been founded by Chloe & Seadna Morey with a new fitness facility established in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare The company is humble in its beginnings. In 2019, through a discussion at a family function, the idea was borne out of a lack of space which catered for the fitness needs of Sixmilebridge and its surrounding areas. Chloe and Séadna, both elite athletes, could see a gap in the market for a fitness service in the area. We were intent on creating a relatively new concept, and not a run of the mill gym. We wanted to stay integral in an individual’s fitness journey, and work collaboratively, rather than dictate their needs. Hence the small group personal training sessions were coined where all aspects of fitness (strength, anerobic and aerobic conditioning, mobility, mental fortitude) would be trained, but in a team environment. Throughout 2019, we visited other fitness spaces within Ireland, trying to gain an understanding of best practice and how we could mesh all ideas into one comprehensive service in our area. It was in the middle of 2019 we decided to undertake the Setanta College Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning course to formally qualify our passion for fitness. Morey Movement has gone from strength to strength with over 100 members of the general population and is the current training base for Clare Senior Hurlers, Clare Senior Camogie and Sixmilebridge GAA
