Morgan’s Place will be known as the most comprehensive and caring rehabilitation center for injured athletes discharged from inpatient care and their families in the country. We will accomplish this vision by providing wrap-around services including traditional therapy programs, combined with activities such as yoga, kayaking, fishing, and hiking on a peaceful, campground-like setting. Families give recovering athletes a solid foundation for healing, and Morgan’s Place encourages family participation by enabling them to stay, onsite, in cabins or RVs for the duration of their loved ones’ program. Morgan’s Place will be recognized as a truly healing space—physically, mentally, and emotionally—for everyone affected by traumatic sports injuries. As founder Morgan Monroe said, “After a traumatic accident, such as the one I experienced, our bodies, hearts and minds need to be healed before we can move on with our lives and decide what's next. Morgan's Place will be the steppingstone that people need to help them move on from life-changing accidents and injuries.”
