Morpheus Fluid Ltd have recently spun out from the University of Surrey in 2024. Their innovative new Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology can be used to digitally model the flow of fluids like air, water, oil or gas and will help businesses design, optimise and test products in industries as diverse as aerospace and automotive, through to modelling wind turbines, flood defence barriers, or the flow of blood through the body. Morpheus significantly reduces the costs normally associated with CFD modelling by going “meshless”, offering the following key advantages: ● Elimination of the expensive pre-simulation mesh set-up phase; ● Insightful analysis through automatic time-tracking of particles and fluid elements; ● Ability for non-expert users to harness state-of-the-art CFD tools, for the first time; ● Modelling of free surface flows, complex geometries, and moving parts, all with ease; ● Efficient modelling of high velocity flows. Morpheus have recently secured Innovate UK funding to develop their Minimum Viable Product. They are seeking interest from potential commercial partners and customers.
