We are the Morro Bay Ocean Fresh Water Coalition We are citizen advocates seeking the exploration, development, and implementation of converting (in-part) the abandoned Dynegy in Morro Bay into an environmental sensitive desalination plant looking to employ a combination of solar, wind, geothermal and wave technologies to power the current site’s desalination infrastructure to the-end of economically and safely supplementing the County’s and State’s potable water sources The Morrow Bay Ocean Fresh Water Coalition seeks to realize a desalination project in Morro Bay by bringing together stakeholders in our central coast community. Policy makers ,environmental groups, industry, concerned citizens and academic researchers are encouraged to come together in order to bring green technologies to our region as we pioneer a responsible and prosperous future.
