About Mortgage Domayne
Mortgage Domayne was founded as Mortgage Basics in 2014 by Mark Polatkesen, who then had 12 years’ industry experience as a top-performing mortgage broker. The business quickly grew to become a sizeable player in the mortgage market and continues to enjoy strong growth, with business lodgements of $450 million in the 2018 financial year. Currently, Mortgage Domayne’s staff includes nine brokers and six administrative officers. Mortgage Domayne’s director and lead broker, Mark, has worked exclusively in the construction finance field for over 15 years supporting the sales results of builders such as Porter Davis, Carlisle, Metricon and Orbit Homes. In each of these businesses, Mark has always been the highest volume broker. Mark has brought this culture of success and expertise to his motivated and high-performing sales and administrative teams at Mortgage Domayne. He personally settled loans in excess of $100 million in 2018, while the company is on track to see over $400 million in mortgages approved in 2019. Mortgage Domayne is proud of its low finance cancellation rate, which at 8.2% for 2018 is well below the industry average of 25-30%. Mortgage Domayne’s growth and success is due to its high levels of customer service and professionalism. Our business is characterised by a strong work ethic and a sales culture resting on reputation, client referrals, and contacts. Our growth is also due to sound business planning and structure, underpinned by our skill in sourcing and structuring outstanding mortgage deals for our clients. Excellence is Mortgage Domayne’s daily promise – and we deliver it every time we interact with a client.
