About Mortgages by McAteer

Mortgages by McAteer was established by Lee in February 2018. Each year, the team has grown to accommodate our increased demand and we now work as a team of four staff, with a combined experience of over thirty years in the financial services industry between us. The team currently consists of two Mortgage Advisers and two Business Managers, who offer a diverse history of experience within the property industry. Lee qualified as a Mortgage Adviser in 2008, after beginning his career in property at the age of just 16 with Bairstow Eves, one of the country’s largest Estate Agents, and working his way through the ranks. Of the firm’s two Business Managers, one is a fully qualified CeMap Mortgage and Protections Advisor, so between the four of us, the team at Mortgages by McAteer really have all bases covered in terms of knowledge within the property industry. We expect to expand the team further in the future, to keep up with our continued growth of the client base, most of whom are referrals from previous happy clients. Our small and tight knit team are enthusiastic about being a part of our clients’ journeys into their new home. We all agree that the most satisfying part of the job is seeing our clients pick up the keys to their new home. Outside of the office, we have a wide range of hobbies, from family time to getting involved with the community through the management of a local junior football team.
