No schedules, no routine, no pressure. A space for families and friends to really just ‘be’; to reconnect and rediscover what it is that binds them, in some of Africa’s most revered wildlife sanctuaries. Because family time is the most precious time there is, we happily welcome families with children of all ages in all our properties. Children of all ages are also able to join on game drives, thanks to our concept of privacy and exclusivity. Following the success of our 4-bedroom sole-use Morukuru Ocean House – ideal for larger families and groups of friends – we created our 5-suite Morukuru Beach Lodge in De Hoop Nature Reserve. This boutique eco-lodge is ideal for couples and smaller families. Both options are Relais & Chateaux members and offer some of the best land based whale watching on the continent. For (multi-generation) family safaris we recommend our three exclusive-use safari houses in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, which are all part of Relais & Chateaux too. And finally in Sandton, Johannesburg, we welcome guests into AtholPlace Hotel & Villa, an intimate 9 room boutique hotel and 4-bedroom exclusive-use villa from which to explore a fascinating city. Our exclusive-use houses in Madikwe Game Reserve as well as Morukuru Ocean House are fully inclusive of all activities, all meals, drinks, private vehicle and guide, private chef and a private butler. Activities at Morukuru Beach Lodge are shared with the other guests.
