About Mosaic Movements
Mosaic Movements is a Latinx, Black, and Indigenous-centered interdisciplinary arts organization advancing justice through diasporic storytelling, cultural work, and transformative liberation. Founded by artist and cultural leader Yoleidy Rosario-Hernandez, we were born out of resistance to cultural erasure—at a time when histories were rewritten, communities of color attacked, and the arts defunded. Our response was clear: create a space where stories live, truth is honored, and artists are empowered to thrive. We envision a future shaped by radical creativity and equity-centered innovation—led by the transformative voices of BIPOC and Queer artists. Mosaic Movements cultivates a vibrant artistic community where collaboration, equity, and healing are central. Our programs span interdisciplinary performances, artist incubators, youth storytelling, residencies, documentary projects, and global initiatives connecting art, justice, and community. Initiatives such as Creative Nexus and Casa Caney provide artists with professional development, performance opportunities, and intentional spaces for connection. Through workshops, summits, and exhibitions, we equip artists with tools to expand their practice while amplifying cultural narratives often erased. We also engage youth through immersive programs that weave history, creativity, and self-expression, ensuring the next generation is equipped to lead with vision and courage. At our core, we celebrate complexity, center Indigenous and diasporic voices, and affirm that art is not only expression, but also survival, resistance, and transformation. With each project, we foster belonging, expand access, and reshape culture to reflect the fullness of our stories. Mosaic Movements is more than an arts organization—it is a movement rooted in love, justice, and the unshakable belief that creativity can heal, liberate, and change the world.
