Moshan Productions (pronounced motion) is an event production and management company with an emphasis on creating high quality events and encouraging people to be active while being ecologically conscious. The organization is focused on creating events that are great for introducing the beginner athlete to the sport as well as for challenging the most seasoned veteran competitors. Moshan Productions is committed spreading the benefits of living an active and healthy lifestyle while holding events that are environmentally sustainable. Moshan Productions is based in San Jose, CA and was founded in 2009. About the owner Moshan productions was founded by Marnie Oshan in 2009. Marnie has worked in some facet of the event and fitness industries for the past 10 years and brings a diverse history to this new company. Ms. Oshan earned both her B.S. and M.A. degrees in the field of Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management from San Jose State University. She has worked on everything from internationally televised events such as ESPN’s Summer and Winter X Games to smaller community-based fundraising events such as the Walk For AIDS Silicon Valley. She has also participated in the planning and execution of several running and triathlon events locally. Marnie is a recreational runner and triathlete and has participated in events all across the country. Several of the running and triathlon events she has completed have been while training in one of her 6 seasons with Team in Training. In addition, through her marketing role at a large, local sporting goods company, Marnie has worked with several local running clubs, fitness organizations, and multi-sport training groups and is entering this business with an impressive array of contacts that will help to make sure Moshan’s events are highly successful.
