Moss Technical was formed in 1998 by Andy Moss, an Aircraft Electronics Technician in the RAF, whose dream was not only to own and develop his own business, but to build it on qualities bred from his time in the RAF -that of high standards, discipline, punctuality, reliability and appearance. Having studied hard in the electrical and electronics disciplines, Andy developed the skills required and the company quickly earned recognition from the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board, the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors and slightly later from Safe Contractor and the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme. Andy says "all too often, I hear tales of other companies that let a customer down, turn up scruffy or produce rough or shoddy workmanship. I understand that a customer's time is valuable and often, a person has taken time off work to be in their home for a tradesman to turn up and nothing annoys me more than to hear that another company has let them down! A phone call these days, costs nothing and if proper planning is applied, there is often no reason why a specific time for an engineer to arrive, can't be arranged with the customer."
