Mossbourne Community Academy is the flagship school of The Mossbourne Federation. Mossbourne is the realisation of Sir Clive Bourne’s dream to provide the children of Hackney with an outstanding education. Mossbourne is built on a formula of high expectations, doing the simple things right, and the belief that all children can succeed. Our calm working atmosphere creates well-rounded individuals who excel in the arts, on the sporting field and academically. OFSTED describes Mossbourne as “outstanding, but even within that category it is exceptional.” Inspectors were “enthralled by the hard work and dedication of our staff, and the excellent attitude our students have to learning.” Mossbourne has raised educational achievement to the very highest levels. The Academy’s GCSE and A Level results are consistently outstanding, placing Mossbourne in the top 1% of schools in the country.
