Mother Earth for Climate Justice (ME for Climate Justice) is a youth-led climate justice movement based in Sierra Leone. We harness the power of law, economics, policy advocacy, and community action to protect environmental rights and create a more just and sustainable world. Our interdisciplinary founding team—comprising lawyers, political economists, environmentalists, engineers and grassroots activists—brings diverse expertise to climate justice advocacy. We pursue climate action through strategic litigation, policy reform, climate education, and community-led solutions. Our work empowers local communities, especially youth, to become informed and active stewards of the environment. We believe that achieving climate justice means addressing not only environmental harm, but also the social and economic systems that fuel inequality and ecological degradation.
