Mother's Market is a unique natural foods store which was founded in 1978 by a group of yoga enthusiasts to provide the best in organic and natural products not readily available elsewhere. With a reputation for the best organic produce at unbeatable prices, delicious homemade foods prepared in Mom's kitchen, many specialty foods including those for a plant-based diet and an unmatched selection of supplements and sports nutrition. New in 2016 were the additions of grass-fed organic beef and selections of beer and wine that includes biodynamic, organic, vegan, local and sulfite-free. What began in 2,500 square feet in Costa Mesa has grown into 12 locations. In 2016, Mother's Market joined forces with Mill Road Capital to continue the expansion of more stores. Their strong commitment to partnering with socially-conscious and environmentally sustainable businesses and commitment to preserving the unique culture and authenticity is what led to the partnership.
