As salon professionals, we at Mothers Milc had a goal to provide natural salon- quality products that have a limited impact on the environment. Everyday our team used many chemically-enhanced products that damaged and hampered the hair’s natural renewal process. Additionally, all of these chemically-enhanced products were packaged in petroleum-based plastic bottles that are a drain on our earth’s natural resources to both produce and dispose of. Our solution was the development of our natural Soy Milk products that utilize natural ingredients and environmentally friendly paper cartons for packaging. Our paper-based cartons garnered from responsibly managed forest means that each tree borrowed from nature is replaced with a young seedling. Once grown, the trees durable fibers make the carton light and its carbon footprint small. Small production runs ensure that each Mothers Milc product reaches consumers at an optimal level of purity, compared to mass-produced hair-care products that can sit on shelves or in warehouses for months or years before it is purchased.
