About Motion as Medicine
Founded in 2017 due to a desperate need for quality exercise physiology treatment to be available in rural locations within the Central West and Riverina of NSW. With a vision to "empower optimal health and performance" through our evidence-based movement prescription, we have a passion for helping those in rural locations that often need to travel large distances to obtain the help they need to live their best life. Well thought out, appropriate, safe and scientifically backed movement is an essential part of treatment, management and rehabilitation for many conditions. From chronic low back pain to diabetes, heart bypass surgery to ACL rehabilitation, cancer fatigue to retraining amputees how to walk, we work with a HUGE range of patients. This could be in a private capacity or through a third party, such as the NDIS or Work Cover. We also love to make our rural based athletes and get a thrill in helping them get the most out of their bodies so they can continue to progress their representative sports careers or even make the next grade in the local competitions. Many of our clients travel a short distance nearby from West Wyalong, Grenfell, Boorowa, Gundagai, Harden and Cowra to access our help!
