Film and Video Production: Commercial, Informational, Fund raising, Training, on TV, Web and Intranet. Daniel Polsfuss was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After a brief time living abroad Daniel returned to Minneapolis to pursue a career in motion picture production. Starting as a Grip he served his apprenticeship as a freelancer for Wilson/Griak, Maag/ Kunutson and then working with Tom Gilman at T. Butler and Company as Assistant Director and Editor. In the early 1980s Daniel opened the Post-production/Editing boutique, FilmCutter, with a primary focus on TV Commercials Advertising. His client list grew to include Chuck Ruhr Adv., Carmichael Lynch, Clarity Coverdale, Peterson Milla Hooks and Fallon McGilligut Rice. First working as a editor for Chuck Statler, later in the 80s FilmCutter expanded into Music Video production. Flyte Tyme being the first client with their music artist, Alexander O’Neal. In 1995, Daniel formed a partnership with Bill Card with the launching of Motion Pictures, Inc, the first projects being TV commercials for Redwing Shoes and employee communication videos for Coca-Cola. Daniel continues on today as President and Producer/Director for MoPicInc. Daniel is a father and an avid Tai Chi Chuan practitioner having studied with T.T.Liang though out the 1980s.
