About MÓTUS Dance
MÓTUS was established in 2013 by professional dance artists based in Milton Keynes, who through their professional work in the UK, recognised the opportunity and potential waiting to be harnessed in a city that had an absence of a dance house within its cultural infrastructure. And so, MÓTUS was born. Since 2013, MÓTUS has presented annual festivals featuring a diverse and eclectic programme of dance genres designed to inspire, motivate and connect including collaborations with IF produced through The Stables, MK Gallery, Arts for Health and MK Council. JUMPSTART is their U.Dance endorsed youth dance platform that has just had its third year, welcoming hundreds of young dancers to The Venue:MK each time to share their talent and passion. MÓTUS has a rich and varied workshop programme and supports the creation of new work with its ‘Adjustments’ programme giving a platform for brave, new and original work to be seen.
