About Motus Technology
With a strong focus on technology, we aim to provide the next generation of safe and cost-efficient cranes- and lifting solutions and services to meet our customers challenges. Motus has evolved from the crane specialist environment in Molde that dates back to the early 1940’s when the fishing industry needed more modern cranes and load handling equipment. Later this was the basis for developement of the world leading offshore crane competence in this region of Norway. Motus was established by senior management and engineers in 2013 and the following year the company acquired Huse Engineering AS, wholly owned by the winch manufacturer I.P. Huse AS on Harøya. At the same time the ABAS Crane portfolio was taken over by Motus. Through a long term cooperation agreement with Kongsberg Maritime and our close relation with I.P. Huse, we provide decades of experience in design, fabrication and operational crane knowledge. We are proud of our crane history and look forward to serve our customers in the years to come.
