Our flagship product, Motus Relieve, offers a relaxed seated introduction to immersive experiences, placing users in captivating 360-degree video environments. Caregivers see the same view on a tablet, receive conversation prompts, and easily control the experience. Motus Relieve is used in the NHS and private care settings to combat boredom, enhance social connections, induce relaxation, reduce anxiety, and distract from pain. It's versatile, continuously evolving and is an always on-hand activity. Developed in collaboration with care homes in Oxfordshire and Cornwall, Oxfordshire County Council, and universities of Oxford and Plymouth, Motus Relieve can be personalised to fit care settings and families' preferences. It has become a trusted go-to activity for uplifting spirits, reducing anxiety, and rekindling feelings of happiness. Motus Explore, our second product, offers seated, active social VR walks. It caters to individuals with varying abilities, including those unable to walk unaided or looking to build strength. Using leg movement, Motus Explore allows small groups to explore diverse environments, expanding their horizons and encouraging independence while fostering conversations with others. Motus Explore co-developed with Motus Relieve, with additional input from physiotherapists and occupational therapists. It provides gentle, safe exercise for all lower limb muscles, including the glutes and core. Notable achievements with Motus Explore include an 87-year-old walking 3km while chatting with friends, and a 98-year-old gentleman, with normally zero steps/day, managing 300m on his first outing. Motus Explore will soon be available for community hospital rehabilitation and care home exercise programs, promoting stability and strengthening leg muscles.
