About Mount St. Dominic Academy
Mount St. Dominic Academy, established by the Sisters of St. Dominic in Caldwell, New Jersey, is a Catholic college preparatory school, dedicated to the education of young women from a variety of ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds. Since 1892, The Mount has been empowering young women in the Dominican tradition. At The Mount, we foster a community that motivates and supports one another throughout the high school experience. Our students benefit from the instruction and resources needed to develop essential skills in critical analysis, independent inquiry and effective communication. A Mount education ignites a passion for social justice and civic engagement. The curriculum – which includes several unique signature programs encompassing leadership, entrepreneurship and research - establishes the foundation for a lifetime of truth-seeking through knowledge, dialogue and participation. Students and teachers at The Mount are partners in learning. Small classes enable our teachers to provide flexible and individualized instruction while offering our students a safe and comfortable environment for academic and personal discovery. As educators, we cultivate a robust foundation through a purposeful blend of academic rigor, intellectual exploration and comprehensive wellbeing. Opportunities to pursue passions in service, ministry, athletics, performing arts, and much more complement classroom and real-world learning to create the unique environment that is The Mount. In 2023, the members of the graduating class earned more than $18 million in college scholarships and grants, earning acceptance to nearly 150 colleges and universities. We invite you to visit www.msdacademy.org for more information on our community, our offerings, and the benefits of an all-girls education.
