About Mountain Lake Services
Founded in 1967 by a group of 15 concerned citizens, Mountain Lake Services was established to address the lack of support for individuals with developmental disabilities in our community. In 1974, we began providing services, and now, as we mark our 50th anniversary, we are proud to continue our mission of partnering with people of all abilities to live their very best lives. From our early efforts in vocational training at Essex Industries to the development of residential, day, and community-based services, we have expanded to offer a comprehensive range of supports tailored to meet diverse needs. Our vision is to serve as an inspirational model, advancing people’s journeys through excellence, innovation, and meaningful connections.
