About Mountain Workshop

Mountain Workshop is home to Trail Mark education programs, which provide public and private schools with a variety of Improving School Climate, Leadership Development, Adventure and Experiential Education programs. Trail Mark programs are based on a number of current challenges students, schools and communities are facing. Our programs use the experiential and adventure education model to focus on development and prevention. Our model and experience has shown us that giving individuals opportunities to connect outside of the classroom, builds a strong community foundation and a level of mutual respect regardless of social groups or influences. Mountain Workshop is also home to Awesome Adventures, a unique kind of summer day camp located in Connecticut. We offer cool outdoor adventure summer camps for kids' ages 8 to 15. We introduce kids to rewarding and challenging weeks filled with outdoor activities including; hiking, rock climbing, rappelling, caving, kayaking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, and paddle boarding. For our oldest groups, we offer a 5-day program with a two night camping trip. Day camps have pick-up locations in Ridgefield, Wilton, or Westport, CT and travel to locations within Connecticut for an adventure filled day. We employ and train dynamic, outdoor professionals committed to safety and education.
