About Move and Play Paediatric Therapy

Move and Play Paediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary paediatric allied health service providing supports and services to children and families in the Mackay, Whitsunday, and Moranbah regions in Queensland, Australia. Our team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists and allied health assistants work alongside and support children and their whole family, so that children and families can thrive doing whatever is most important to them and living their best lives. Our services and approaches stretch beyond ‘typical therapy’. We want to ensure children and families thrive in real life, beyond our clinic walls. We adapt our approach, providing individualised supports and therapy that are unique to the needs of each child and family. We build on each child and family’s strengths. We celebrate all the little successes. Each child’s achievement of ‘millistones’ is just as important and exciting as their achievement of ‘milestones’. In addition to helping kids and families, we are very passionate about supporting therapists, especially in regional and remote areas, to deliver good quality paediatric care to kids and families. We provide education and training to other therapists through our online training workshops and webinars.
