About Move4Parkinson's

Founded by People with Parkinson's (PwPs); we promote active self-management as a tool to reduce symptoms and enable a better quality of life. Our goal is to educate, empower and inspire PwPs by providing the information and support necessary to understand their illness. Based on our personal experiences of living with Parkinson’s, we encourage PWP’s to explore our 'Five Elements' framework, in order to gain insights into ways in which they can manage their illness. This framework simplifies self-management into five key areas; Medication Awareness & Medical Support, Nutrition, Exercise, Emotional Well-Being and Optional Treatments. We encourage PwP’s to choose the programmes which best fit their specific needs and requirements. Each of us is unique, so it is important to remember that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution.
