About Moving Forward Physical Therapy, PC
At Moving Forward Physical Therapy, we focus on exclusively one-on-one patient care. Each session is with the same therapist, and is personalized to the patient’s progression and current presentation. All sessions consist of hands-on techniques for management of tight and inflamed tissue. Many techniques for accelerated recovery are used in each treatment session: Graston, kinesio taping, kinematic taping, active release technique (ART), facilitated positional release, strain counterstrain, myofascial release, as well as many more. Exercise programs are progressive, allowing the patient to continually excel through the rehabilitation process. All orthopedic conditions are addressed, the body is evaluated as a whole, treatment is specific to the patient to detect and correct the given injury, as well as compensatory patterning and movement dysfunction to avoid further injury. We treat a wide range of orthopedic ailments; from post-surgical day one to maintenance treatment for elite level performance athletes. Performance screening and testing is done on every patient to ensure complete recovery and to prevent future re-injuries or exacerbation.
