About Moving Together

Moving Together is a community organisation based in Leicester, offering and developing high quality dance opportunities taught by expert practitioners. We specialise in creative dance delivery and Arts Award programmes and have been awarded Trinity Champion Centre status, identifying us as one of the UK’s leading providers of the Arts Award framework for 2021-22. We also have extensive experience in dance delivery for SEND children and young people, dance within Primary and Secondary schools, fitness and creative dance for adults over the age of 55, consultancy, employability and development opportunities, education producing for internationally touring artists, wider dance event management for school trusts and cross-curricular fusion projects with national partners. Our core youth programme is funded by and hosted at De Montfort University for children and young people aged 10-18. Over an average week in the academic year, Moving Together engages over 600 participants aged between 5 and 87 through regular classes in and around Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, focusing on creativity, wellbeing, artistic excellence, inclusion and fitness.
