Openstudio for us means 'openness' and teamwork with experts that vary with each assignment. A method that allows us to introduce new ideas and give space to architectures based on concrete and punctual experiences. We think that the architectural project must be resolved in the most essential way possible, that is to summarize and synthesize the conditions and needs so that an optimal and rigorous result can be obtained in the minimum way. This apparent simplicity implies and hides an in-depth analysis of the determinants that govern, since this result can only be achieved after a complex reflection and a rigorous exercise of abstraction. The architectural abstraction that guides our proposals is mainly centered on a post-ecological desire, far from the superficial 'environmentalism', and seeks the design effectiveness in a more profound way with the ethical use of resources and responsible energy management. We rely on quantifiable, shareable and demonstrable technical data, as well as a search for solutions focused on the virtuous involvement of the end user. The ideal is to design architectures that inspire a 'creative life' towards nature. It is essential to generate personalized comfort experiences and technological systems that motivate towards a more active life and long-term sustainability. To this end, architecture can foster a better understanding of one's environment and support inhabitants in their personal search for comfort, with the idea of providing 'passive solutions for an active life'. Our pragmatic approach does not neglect the formal composition and definition of the spatial experience that every architectural work needs, believing that architecture is both art and science, in the proportions dictated by the client.
