MP BioMass is working hard at solving the complex problem of coal ash waste. We are focusing our systems ability to recover the valuable carbon deposits and harvest the semi/precious metals known to exist within the bottom ash. Depending on the type of coal used as a fuel source and the inefficiency of the plant operating systems, coal ash deposits can retain carbon residue (energy) values that may fluctuate from 8% to 14% of the ash accretions. Our system harvests these useful calorific values by upcycling this waste removing the heavy metals and toxins. The MP BioMass approach fully exposes the ferrous and non ferrous metal deposits known to exist in coal ash waste and works safely and effectively to recover these valuable resources.
