MPATH-India (Modeling and Predictive Analytics for Healthcare in India) is a student-founded and student-led collective dedicated to advancing health economics and data science within the Indian healthcare landscape. Our mission focuses on the application of sophisticated modeling techniques and predictive analytics to address critical public health issues. We employ advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance HIV surveillance, facilitating improved epidemiological tracking and resource allocation. Additionally, our research examines the interplay between mobility patterns and cardiovascular diseases, utilizing spatial analytics to inform targeted interventions. We also explore the accessibility of dialysis services for rural populations facing renal failure, employing econometric models to assess health equity challenges. Furthermore, we analyze the vulnerabilities of the rural workforce, leveraging data-driven insights to identify barriers to healthcare access and propose actionable strategies.
