About Mr Hobbs Gin
We have launched a new premium gin to play our part in the recent renaissance of British gin. Distilled from only the most refined ingredients, our gin is in keeping with the reputation and brand of our original family business; www.hobbsofhenley.com. The gin is distilled in limited amounts to maintain its high quality and its special refreshing properties. Henley hosts some of England’s most important and exclusive cultural events such as Henley Royal Regatta, Henley Music & Arts Festival and Henley Literary Festival. We felt that such a great town deserved its own special gin, so we created a gin worthy of the Henley name. Mr Hobbs Gin is based on Harry Hobbs original recipe which dates back to 1870, we have given it a modern twist by adding Orris Root and Lime Leaf Oil to create it’s distinctive taste. How they are mixed and in what proportions is still a closely guarded secret. Distilled locally, the production is done at Foxdenton Estate in Buckinghamshire est. 1935 by Major C.R.E Radclyffe. It is produced in small batches making each distillation extra special. We recommend pairing our gin with a Fever-Tree tonic and a curl of orange peel to bring out the citrus notes. ABV 45% VOL 70cl
