About MRC Engineering
MRC Engineering is an independent and standalone Railway Telecoms Design Consultancy in the UK. We also provide telecoms engineering, railway governance and railway assurance consultancy. We specialise in the technical support for design and construction of new and altered railway telecoms systems and railway telecoms design for Operational Communications and SISS for the UK railway infrastructure. MRC Engineering was established in 2013 primarily as an engineering consultancy specialising in design engineering support. We are based in Doncaster and have been RISQS audited and qualified since 2017 and achieved the full 4 star accreditation possible for a first audit. We supply our services in the following areas: • Consultancy, including Technical Advice and Support; • Telecoms Asset Condition Assessments, Correlation and Surveys; • Railway Telecoms Governance and Assurance, and Telecoms Design for GRIP Stages 3 – 8. • Safety Critical Engineering Roles as Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) for both Design and Construction Phases. • Feasibility, Concept and GAP Reports. • Technical Telecoms Engineering Support • Telecoms Standards Technical Review • Technical Review of Client Requirements • Telecoms Informed Buyer Support to Larger Companies with no in house Telecoms Engineering Support.
