About MRnet. Manitoba Research Network

MRnet is Manitoba's Regional Advanced Research and Education Network and a founding member of CANARIE. MRnet provides a high-speed fiber-optic network linking its research and education members to the global R&E networks. Alongside of this, MRnet supports cybersecurity infrastructure and knowledge-transfer on behalf of CANARIE in Manitoba. The MRnet network is provided to support research, education and advanced application development among Manitoba research, education and industry organizations. MRnet is an incorporated not for profit organization supported and governed by our Post Secondary Institution Members including Brandon University, RRC Polytech, University of Winnipeg, Université de Saint-Boniface, University of Manitoba, University College of the North, Assiniboine Community College, and MERLIN. MRnet also receive's federal funding from CANARIE, and in-kind support from the University of Manitoba as well as funding from the Province of Manitoba.
