MRQual is an online research agency and software provider. We run online quantitative and qualitative research projects in the UK and around the world. These include concept, pack and advertising tests, usage and attitude studies, brand health checks, customer satisfaction surveys, employee engagement research and more. Some of these projects are with sample that we provide, and others are with sample provided by clients, such as their own customers, employees or others. ONLINE SURVEYS Our particular area of interest and expertise is in quality control. Online surveys are almost always self-administered, and often involve respondents who take part in numerous surveys, in return for incentives. Given this, we believe it is essential for quality control to be taken seriously, because otherwise the accuracy of survey results can be significantly undermined. There is no point running a survey if you cannot be confident in the results. But why do we need to take an interest, when panels already remove speedsters and grid straight-liners? Well, our answer is that this is really useful, but quality problems can arise for so many reasons other than respondents who take surveys too quickly. These are what we deal with. The good news is that many measures can be taken to improve survey quality without the need for additional cost, work or any delay to fieldwork. ONLINE QUALITATIVE RESEARCH As well as our online survey work we also run online qualitative research projects, or help other organisations to run them. For example, we may do the recruitment and/or moderation. In terms of recruitment, we usually do this using online recruitment surveys, and so the quality measures that we use in quantitative research also apply here.
