Our Mission Statement: MS Rainbow Alliance empowers the LGBTQI community and its Allies to play an active role in advocacy and encourages mutual respect by teaching acceptance, fairness, equality, and understanding. We strive to secure equal rights for the LGBTQI community within the state of Mississippi and within American society as a whole. Who Are We? MS Rainbow Alliance (MSRA) is a community action network serving the GLBTQI (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Question, and Intersex) community as well as our Allies (Family/Friends, Straights). Our goal is to work toward educating and supporting the gay and straight communities of Mississippi. MSRA will be involved in gathering and disseminating pertinent information about special events, regional happenings, and promotion of businesses that are LGBTQI-owned and LGBTQI-friendly. We encourage socialization and networking through organizational events such as meetings, workshops, social gatherings, OUTings, summits, prides, picnics, travel, and community outreach services.
