About MSA Lone Star Council
The MSA Lone Star Council is a coalition of MSAs across the state of Texas whose primary purpose is to unify MSAs for the sake of Allah. We serve as a forum for efficient and effective interaction between the various MSAs in Texas. The Council focuses on facilitating networking and training/development, and operates with the understanding that through cooperation we can achieve much more than we can accomplish individually. Since 2002, we've connected over 25 different collegiate MSAs to one another across the state. Our network allows for sharing of ideas, resources, and more to assist Muslim college students in reaching ttheir highest potential. Additionally, we heavily focus on leadership development for the executive officers to provide them with practical tools to manage their MSA board. Two of main events each academic year are MSA Showdown and MSA Organizational Summit (MOS).
