About MSSTATE Undergraduate Women in Business

The MSU Undergraduate Women in Business (UWiB) is an organization at Mississippi State University for female students that plan on entering business-related careers after completing college. We strive to equip and empower women to be successful in their careers and in the college experience. We also want to give women a place to meet their peers and build a support system of long-lasting friendships and connections. Some examples of the type of events we put on: • Resume and interview workshops • Guest speakers with successful female CEO's, business-owners, or other leaders • Networking events • Career fairs • Q&A panels featuring current students who have had successful internships • Q&A panels featuring employers or company recruiters • LinkedIn Workshops The UWiB aims to recruit a diverse group of women from all over campus that excels in academics, leadership, and service. It is a prestigious organization that was originally founded and modeled after the chapter of UWIB at Harvard University. Currently, we have about 100 members, but we are constantly recruiting throughout the school year.
