OUR HISTORY: For the past 29 years Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert hall has been a premier landmark on Long Island. Family owned and operated since 1983, John Murray, Jr. has transformed the once quaint irish pub into an extremely successful and ever evolving sports bar, concert venue and catering hall. John has transformed Mulcahy’s into a booming attraction on Long Island. For the past 2o summers Mulcahy’s has hosted the #1 dance party on Long Island . . Out of the Weeds. In 2010 the Long Island Press awarded Mulcahy’s as having the best bartenders, sports bar and happy hour on Long Island. Mulcahy’s was also voted the best bar to enjoy an ice cold Bud Light. Mulcahy’s has brought hundreds of celebrities and national acts to Long Island including the likes of Bret Michaels, Third Eye Blind, Keanu Reeves, Dale Earnhardt, Jr, Weezer, DJ Pauly D, Joan Jett, Smash Mouth, The Dropkick Murphy’s, Social Distortion, Lifehouse Ted Nugent and many many more. Mulcahy’s is also Long Island’s home of fundraisers. We host and help promote a number of extremely successful fundraising events every year. Millions of dollars have been raised over the years for families of sick children, police department functions, FDNY events and the John Theissen Children’s Foundation. These amazing benefits are usually attended by famous athletes including WFAN’s Mike Francesa, Ron Darling, John Starks, Wayne Chrebet, Dwight Gooden, David Wells and more. Mulcahy’s continues to thrive today as we approach our 30 year anniversary.
