Jan Mulligan has been practicing healthcare law in San Diego for over 30 years. She is not only skilled in handling traditional claims, but she is at the forefront of cutting-edge litigation involving emerging issues including big data, privacy, AI, telehealth/telemedicine and other evolving technologies. Current chair of the international bar association UIA’s Health Law Commission, she also previously served as the chair of the ABA TIPS Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee. Ms. Mulligan has represented patients through trial, taught at UC San Diego Health, written extensively on digital healthcare issues and lectured both nationally and internationally on both health law and health technology. She is nationally ranked in the top 5% of all attorneys in the United States for her legal skills and ethical standards. Ms. Mulligan has received numerous trial and leadership awards for her excellence in the practice of law from her peers at the American Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, Orange County Consumer Attorneys, San Diego Consumer Attorneys and the International Association of Lawyers (UIA).
