About Multicare Australia Pacific

Multicare Australia Pacific (AKA -MAP or Multicare) is a Pacific Islands Early Intervention and Family Preservation Child Protection Service. Multicare was founded, by an ex-FACS/DCJ Senior Pacific-Multicultural Child Protection Caseworker, Multicultural Specialist, Western Samoan Teacher, Australian TAFE Teacher, Trainer and Assessor. Multicare provides culturally appropriate early intervention and inclusive child protection casework support to help families known to the child protection department. Multicare connects children, young people and families to cultural programs, makes referrals, intervenes and improves their access to services. As being part of the early intervention and preserving families, we support culturally and advocate for children, young people and their families. Additionally, education and training, child protection awareness and information, employment skilling programs, Pacific consultation, counselling and international services are part of the service. All our officers/practitioners are bilingual and multilingual. They are fluent with Samoan, Tongans and Cook Islands and English languages.
