MultiStrat provides a turn-key platform for capital providers looking to enter the reinsurance market through reducing costs and providing custom structure reinsurance solutions that are focused on a total return strategy. MultiStrat Advisors is a wholly owned subsidiary of MultiStrat Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda Company. The primary benefits of a reinsurer for a capital provider are non-financial leverage (through reinsurance premium), capital efficiency (including a potential tax deferral) and source of non-correlated return. There are multiple ways to enter the reinsurance market and MultiStrat Advisors works closely with the capital markets to both actively and passively assist asset managers to participate in structured reinsurance solutions. Since inception MultiStrat has successfully launched 5 participating reinsurers on the platform and 1 Causality Linked Security (“CLS”) which in total has bound more than ~$500m in premium. By working with our affiliated firm MultiStrat Re Ltd., MultiStrat Advisors, LLC is able to deliver a full-service reinsurance platform equipped to identify, source, and underwrite stock acquisitions, finality solutions, and prospective quota share business.
