Mumshine: Supporting the Ones Holding It All Together At Mumshine, we believe that supporting neurodiverse children means supporting their whole village — especially the mums who hold everything together. Founded by Freya Corboy, a qualified counsellor, life coach and mum, Mumshine is dedicated to providing compassionate, practical mental health and wellbeing support tailored to families navigating the joys and challenges of neurodiversity. Our mission is simple: Supporting mums navigating neurodiversity to shine brighter with compassion, clarity and connection. Whether you are a late diagnoses neurodivergent mama or a mama raising neurodivergent kids (or both), we see you and are here to support. We understand the unique pressures faced by families raising neurodivergent kids — from managing complex emotional needs to juggling appointments and everyday life — and we’re here to help lighten that load. Mumshine offers a range of services, including online counselling, coaching, and self-paced learning pathways designed with busy mums in mind. Our approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with neuroaffirming, strength-based perspectives, creating a warm and non-judgmental space for growth and resilience. Mumshine loves partnering with professions that support neurodiverse kids, such as OSH programs, occupational therapist, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and child psychologists so that these professionals know that there is someone supporting the parents, while they support the kids.
