Established in 1983, the Group Mundicenter has specialized in the area of property development, for the design, construction, ownership and management of . for the installation of shopping centers, retail parks and leisure parks. Over time, the Group's strategy has been focused on the management of shopping centers, supported by sustained growth and favoring synergies between companies. In 1985, Mundicenter opened the Amoreiras Shopping Center, Portugal´s first large shopping center. Then came Spacio Shopping (former Olivais Shopping - 1995), Oeiras Parque (1998), Braga Parque (1999), Strada Outlet (former Odivelas Parque - 2003), Galerias Campus S. João (2004), Arena Shopping (2007) and the relaunch of the Alvalade Shopping Center (2013). Without neglecting opportunities to develop new projects, Mundicenter maintains a significant focus on refurbishing and expanding its shopping centers and modernising their architecture, design, lighting and overall atmosphere. It is being done so that visits continue to constitute a moment of pleasure and satisfaction for customers while maintaining the competitive factors essential to the business – modern and dynamic spaces full of life and personality that adapt to a constantly evolving market. Mundicenter is a well-known and dynamic corporate group whose management and brand have become symbols of quality. It manages with professionalism about 1,100 shops and nearly 200,000 sqm of GLA. Its shopping centers count more than 50 million of visits and over 510 million euros commercial transactions. As a citizen company with social responsibilities to the community, Mundicenter continues to associate its name to a series of socially-orientated initiatives. A small mention to Amoreiras Square, an office building built in 2003, designed by architect Raposo Cordeiro. Amoreiras Square has 15 730 sq m of office space, offering a versatile range of areas from 200 sq.m to 1 900 sq m, and a public and private parking space.
