About Munk School Politics Society

The Munk School Politics Society is the newest student leadership initiative at the University of Toronto - Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. In Canada and across the world, political and geopolitical contexts shape the decisions that policymakers, diplomats, and leaders make. To that end, we aim to provide students in the Master of Global Affairs & Master of Public Policy programmes with opportunities throughout the academic year to familiarise ourselves with the political contexts and skillsets that define the fields we are entering. From speaker series giving students the chance to interact with political figures and civil servants across the globe to a model first ministers’ conference giving you the opportunity to learn through experience, we hope to enrich your #munkschool experience and enhance your political acuity. La Société politique de l’École Munk est une nouvelle organisation fondée par une équipe des étudiants de l’École Munk à but d’aider des candidats à la maîtrise en politique publique ou en affaires mondiales à grandir leur acuité politique. Au Canada et, en fait, dans chaque pays du monde, les affaires politiques (la géopolitique, l’opinion publique, les priorités des politiciens) a un impact profond sur les décisions des décideurs politiques, des diplomates et de n’importe quel leader. Donc, nous allons créer des opportunités pour nos étudiants de développer leur acuité politique et géopolitique. Dans ce but, nous allons organiser une série de conférences interactives avec des politiciens et des fonctionnaires publiques canadiens et internationaux, ainsi que des activités intéractives pour enrichir votre expérience à l’École Munk.
