Murawin is a national consultancy committed to social justice & empowerment of First Nations communities & other marginalised groups. Our organisation works across a wide range of policy areas that directly affect Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples & communities. Implementing our Barri Marruma methodology, we specialise in three core service areas: Social Impact & Engagement, Research & Evaluation, & Place Strategy. Founded by Dunghutti woman Carol Vale & the late Greg McKenzie, Murawin, at its core is rooted in intercultural collaboration, mutual respect, & reconciliation - with the mission to create impact by breaking cycles of disadvantage & amplifying initiatives that contribute to economic & social empowerment. Murawin works with clients across all sectors including corporate, government, private, non-profit & more, to provide meaningful engagement & consultation built on the foundation & practice of deep & active listening. We are committed to helping our clients navigate the complexities of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Cultures whilst working genuinely, respectfully, & effectively with Indigenous communities.
