Rooted deep in the heart of rural Somerset, Musgrove Willows Coffins have been growing willow on our family-run farm for over a century. Now in its fourth generation, the name Musgrove remains synonymous with natural, homegrown willow of the highest quality. Today, we grow more than 60 different varieties of willow, and have expanded our collection of willow products. We supply funeral directors across the UK with a range of sustainable, beautifully handcrafted willow coffins. Each willow coffin is made on site with willow that has been grown, harvested, and hand sorted on our Somerset farm. Close attention to traditional willow growing methods enables Musgrove to uphold our pledge of being an environmentally conscious, carbon-neutral business. We grow and harvest our willow in a way that has the least impact on the environment and wildlife. Our dedication to this goal has been recognised with numerous awards, including the Best Rural Retail Business Award 2021 and Family Business Of The Year 2021. At Musgrove Willows Coffins we care deeply about the important, personal work we do for people at a difficult, emotional time in their lives. As such, we uphold exceptionally high standards of quality and service. In 2017, we received accreditation from the Funeral Furnishing Manufacturers’ Association (FFMA). All our willow coffins have passed rigorous testing for weight, strength, and environmental impact. They are suitable for burial, cremation, and both woodland and green burial sites.
