About Muzingo Associates

Established in 1984 Gina Muzingo, Muzingo Associates has been designing interiors specializing in restaurants, as well as other commercial establishments and residences. Gina's prior professional experiences date back to 1979 whereas Gina worked at some of the top design and consulting firms in Los Angeles. She worked on developing and designing hotels and restaurants all over the world. In 1993 Gina launched Catfish Bite a manufacturing company, design showroom, retail store and retail web site in Los Angeles, CA, Culver City, CA. and Dallas, TX . Catfish Bite creates and manufactures high-end home décor products for many of the top name department stores and mail order catalogs in the world. In 2005 Gina launched a showroom in Dallas, Texas called Southern Fried Chicks and another one in 2009 called Rock Girl Lounge. In 1994 Gina saw the expanding and growing market of outdoor rooms and gardens, once again expanded her palate designing exterior living spaces and environments. With great success she landed a spot on HGTV's (Home and Garden Television) new show "Outer Spaces" The ability to design "Trend Setting" cutting edge environments that are functional and attractive not to mention whimsy product designs has resulted in outstanding reviews and design awards in addition to top various periodicals reaching over fifty. Ms Muzingo creates design with order and integrity. With her thorough knowledge of materials ranging from construction materials, textiles and home decor products in addition to her hands on approach to all of her work she finds a constant need to have her finger on the pulse of the design world. By doing so she helps to expand the thinking of her clients and considers her client's contributions an asset to her work
