That’s why we assembled a team of PhD’s, curriculum experts, and hit songwriters to create Muzology, a digital platform that uses music videos to make learning fun, efficient, and effective. Muzology’s evidence-based, algebra readiness platform offers high engagement learning for students of all levels and educational backgrounds. Created by a team of PhDs (Harvard and Oxford University) and learning experts, Muzology offers a pedagogically sound approach to learning pre-algebra skills and procedures using an iterative series of music videos (written by hit songwriters!). Muzology offers a clear, relevant and fun way for your students to learn math—anywhere they have an internet connection. Muzology’s multi-sensory music videos are mapped to standards. Students apply and extend their learning through a series of in-platform formative assessments presented as gamified Math Challenges. Student and teacher dashboards track growth and progress. Teachers can also assign videos to entire classes or individual students. Since launching its algebra-readiness series at the start of the 2016/17 school year, thousands of students have benefited from Muzology’s music-based learning system.
