About MW Design Workshop

Based in the Pacific Northwest, MW Design Workshop builds world-class custom stair systems. In addition to our signature custom staircases, we also make custom entry doors, architectural metals, and standalone railing systems. Our projects generally start with a staircase, but once the client sees the rest of our portfolio, and experiences the high level of service we offer, it is not uncommon for us to spread into other aspects of the project. We will often begin with a contract on the stair alone, but by the time the space is completed we will have made custom doors, the millwork, cabinets, and sometimes several pieces of commissioned furniture. Our strengths are: Design - From hand sketching to comprehensive CAD shop drawings. Manufacture - Highly skilled craftsmanship and computerized machining. Project Management - One of our most important services is to assist and coordinate with other trades; from foundation and framing to interior finishes, to provide an outstanding finished product.
