MWC UK LTD – Moving Water Company UK is the official exclusive agent of MWI (Pumps) Corporation, established in 1926. For over 88 years, MWI has been involved in the design and construction of large volume water pumps. We specialise in moving large volumes of water in a short period of time limiting the costs at all levels and more importantly with minimal or no civil works reducing installation costs of up to 70%. MWI produced more high volume propeller pumps than any other company with over 12,000 installations in place. MWI has successfully introduced many unique, patented water pumps from small hand pumps producing 6 liters per minute (1.5GPM) to large pumps producing over 1900 cubic meters per minute (500,000 GPM). MWI has over 30 US patents. MWI has been operating internationally for over 40 years with representatives in over 50 countries in the Far East, United Kingdom, Asia, Europe, Middle East Africa and Latin America. For over 88 years, MWI has been involved in the design and construction of large volume water pumps. MWI Hydraflo pumps have been used worldwide and proved to successfully move flood water in many natural disasters such as: Hurricane Katrina – USA 2005 working with the American US Army Corps of Engineers, Hurricane Rita 2005, Hurricane Sandy 2012, Hurghada Flooding – Egypt 1996, Hurricane Gustav and Ike – 2008.
