We believe everyone with cancer should have access, from diagnosis, to complementary therapies that enhance their wellbeing and keep them in control of their journey. Our dedicated team of over 70 volunteers enables us to offer one to one treatments of acupuncture, massage, reiki and reflexology and run group courses of mindfulness and yoga for cancer patients. My Cancer My Choices offers 6 free one-to-one treatments, (voluntary donations appreciated), to anyone just diagnosed with cancer, undergoing active treatment or within 6 months of finishing treatment, making it affordable and accessible for everyone. Complementary therapy can make the cancer journey easier by encouraging relaxation, reducing stress and alleviating some of the side affects of cancer treatment, such as hot flushes, pain and nausea.
